Looking for a good image plugin
Related entries in Blog software & toolsAside from using images from affiliate programs, I use a ton more images every day. I’m finding the flow a little annoying to get the picture uploaded and resized.
Anyone know a good image plugin for WordPress? I am looking at this one: FAlbum. Works w/ Flickr.
I would prefer a plugin that does a direct upload rather than Flickr. Something I can add as an extension to Firefox on my toolbar would be ideal.
Suggestions?

Arienna,
This is the same problem I’m facing and I’m sure most active bloggers too,
I’m testing out Sticky Images on one of my blogs, and so far it seems to be working out great.
Info here: http://wp-plugins.net/plugin/sticky_images/
Let me know if it works for you also.

Flock is a new browser that looks like it may do (if not now then soon) what you’re looking to do, and much more. It’s deifinitely worth a look. I’m downloading it right now, and I’m pretty excited about it.
Oh, and no, I’m not (yet) affiliated with the guys at Flock.

There’s a few plugins for wordpress, and I know of some that use Gallery and use the bookmarklets, therein. Personally, I use Flock, Flickr, and the mozImage plugin to do a flickr uploading hack. Essentially, you save the image you want to upload to flikr, open it in mozimage, mozimage opens it in the flickr uploader, bing, bang, boom. It seems hacky and lengthy, but once you get used to it (by your second upload), it takes you all of a very few seconds (plus transit time) to get an image uploaded and onto your flickr top bar in Flock. (Wish Qumana had that capability. oy, but that would be nice.)
I’ve detailed the how-to, in a blog post, here: http://fyreplace.com/2005/11/06/uploading-to-flickr-from-flock-or-firefox/
